High voltage shunt capacitors are mainly used in 50Hz or 60Hz AC power systems to improve power factor. The product performance conforms to GB3983.2-89 "High Voltage Parallel Capacitor" and international standard IEC 60871-1987.
2. Model Significance
2.1 Capacitors have BFM and BAM series. Their model meanings are as follows:
Series 2.2 Code B: Represents shunt capacitor A: Represents filter capacitor
2.3 Liquid medium code F: for diarylethane, A: for benzyltoluene (adapted to cold and low temperature areas)
2.4 Solid medium code M: Represents the whole film medium.
2.5 Design Code R: Represents Discharge Resistance, r: Represents Internal Fuse, H: Represents Set Formula
2.6 First Characteristic Number (Rated Voltage): Represents Rated Voltage kV
2.7 Second characteristic number (rated capacity): denotes rated capacity kvar
2.8 The third characteristic number (phase number) 1: single phase, 3: three phase.
2.9 Endnote number W: for outdoor type (no Endnote number for indoor type), h: for horizontal type, G for plateau type
3. Conditions of Use
3.1. The ambient temperature range of the installation and operation area of the capacitor is -25 C~+45 C for BFM type capacitor and -40 C~+45 C for BAM type capacitor. The sea level does not exceed 1000 meters. When ordering capacitors whose installation location is over 1000 meters above sea level, special instructions should be given.
3.2. Installation site is free from severe mechanical vibration, harmful gases and steam, conductivity and explosive dust.
3.3. Capacitor interelectrode dielectrics should be able to withstand one of the following two test voltages, lasting 10 seconds.
A. AC power frequency voltage: Ut (~) = 2.15Un
B. DC voltage: Ut (-) = 4.3Un
The continuous operating voltage is 1.0Un, and the maximum long-term overvoltage is more than 1.1Un.
3.4. Steady-state overcurrent (including harmonic current) does not exceed 1.43 In.
3.5. The maximum allowable capacity does not exceed 1.35Qn.
3.6 The insulation level of capacitor terminals and housing shall be able to withstand the test voltage listed in the table below.
3.7 Capacitor has the power frequency steady-state overvoltage capability shown in the table below.
Note: In order to prolong the service life of capacitors, capacitors should always operate at rated voltage.
3.8 capacitors can withstand the first transition overvoltage whose peak value is not more than 2.2 Un lasting 1/2 cycle.
3.9 capacitors are allowed to operate at a steady overcurrent of 1.3ln due to voltage rise and high harmonics. For capacitors with the largest positive deviation, this overcurrent is allowed to reach 1.43ln.
The difference between measured capacitance and rated value of 3.10 capacitor is not more than -5%-10% of rated value. The ratio of maximum capacitance to minimum capacitance measured between any two line terminals in three-phase capacitor should not exceed 1.06.
3.11 Capacitor Loss Angle Tangent Value (tg_ delta) = 0.0005 at 20 C under rated voltage of power frequency
Note: Capacitors with internal discharge resistance or fuse are allowed to increase the tangent value of loss angle by 0.0001.
3.12 A capacitor equipped with discharge resistance can be cut off from the power supply and drop from the peak value of rated voltage to less than 75 volts within 10 minutes. If the peak value of rated voltage falls below 50 volts in 5 minutes, it should be explained at the time of ordering.
3.13 Three-phase capacitors have star-shaped internal wiring, and each phase has a discharge resistance.

3、使用条件
3.1、电容器安装运行地区环境温度范围,BFM型电容器为-25℃~+45℃,BAM型电容器为-40℃~+45℃。海拨高度不超过1000米。对安装地点海拨高度超过1000米的电容器,订货时应特别加以说明。
3.2、安装场所无剧烈的机械振动、无有害气体及蒸汽、无导电性及爆炸性尘埃。
3.3、电容器极间介质应能承受下列二种试验电压之一,历时10s。
a.工频交流电压:Ut(~)=2.15Un
b.直流电压:Ut(-)=4.3Un
连续运行电压1.0Un,*过电压gao值超过1.1Un。
3.4、稳态过电流(包括谐波电流)不超过1.43In。
3.5、大允许容量不超过1.35Qn。
3.6 电容器端子与外壳的绝缘水平应能承受下表所列的试验电压。
3.7电容器具有下表所示的工频稳态过电压能力
注:为了延长电容器的使用寿命,电容器应经常维持在额定电压下运行。
3.8 电容器能承受*个峰值不超过2.2 Un持续1/2周期的过渡过电压。
3.9 电容器允许在由于电压升高及高次谐波造成的有效值为1.3ln的稳定过电流下运行,对于电容具有大正偏差的电容器,这个过电流允许达到1.43ln。
3.10 电容器的实测电容值与额定值之差不超过额定值的-5%~+10%,三相电容器中任何两线路端子间测得的大与小电容值之比值应不大于1.06。
3.11 电容器在工频额定电压下,温度为20℃时的损耗角正切值(tgδ)≤0.0005
注:内部装有放电电阻或熔丝的电容器,其损耗角正切值允许增加0.0001。
3.12 内部装有放电电阻的电容器,与电源断开后,能在10分种内由额定电压的峰值降到75伏以下。若要在5分钟内由额定电压的峰值降到50伏以下,则应在订货时加以说明。
3.13 三相电容器内部为星形接线,每相均加有放电电阻。
