The versatile DynaGen seeding module (patent pending) can be used with the DynaGen bioreactor chambers to seed constructs with up to 2 separate cell suspensions in a user defined pattern. The module design allows installation of the scaffold and cell seeding independent of the stimulation system.
For example, the fully automated seeding module can be integrated with the standard LumeGen bioreactor chambers (one configuration is pictured right) to seed tubular scaffolds. Dual sterilizable cannulas with controlled pumps deposit cells inside and outside of a graft with a user defined speed and pattern. New modified grips allow the graft to rotate independent from the chamber at a user defined speed. Once seeding has been completed the chamber can be plugged into the LumeGen bioreactor for stimulation.

The CellWorks software and control platform acommodates a wide range of user defined cell seeding protocols. The intuitive software runs under Windows XP. Step by step instructions prompt the user to input parameters, for example; sample length. desired spacing between cell suspension droplets, and rest periods. Other parameters such as seeding speed and density can be hardcoded in to the software to ensure precise repeatability of the seeding process. The CellWorks software displays seeding parameters and tracks the seeding progress. Linear displacement and rotation of the sample can be controlled individually, the dispersal rate of the syringes can also be controlled individually. These capabilities provide the user with an almost infinite number of seeding patterns, while still offering micron level positioning of the graft and tenths of degree rotation accuracy.
