Rolling Ball Tack

Fast and economical, the ChemInstruments Rolling Ball Tack tester provides an easy method of testing the tack of an adhesive. It quantifies the ability of an adhesive to quickly adhere to another surface. The Rolling Ball Tack tester meets the standards set by the Pressure Sensitive Tape Council (PSTC-6) and ASTM (ASTM D3121) for tack testing a pressure sensitive adhesive.

ChemInstruments 的 RBT-100 Rolling Ball Tack Tester，是依据PSTC-6和ASTM D-3161的规范而设计，专门用来测量胶带的 Tack的仪器。

rolling ball tack的测量可以用便宜又快速的方法，将胶带的tack量化，以模拟胶带黏到另一表面的力量。

胶带样品尺寸：2吋 × 15吋   (5cm × 38 cm)

测试方法：

使用7/16"直径的钢球；

将试验台沟内及钢球用正己烷或甲醇擦乾净。

戴手套，清洁好了之後，手就不要再触摸到试验沟及钢球。

把试验台放水平。

把胶带胶面向上，对准试验台成一直线。

试验台压著胶带的一端，另一端也要用胶带或重量把试片拉平固定。

用无尘布抓起钢球放到试验台斜坡沟内的起点处。

按下释放杆，让钢球滚下，用直尺量测钢球停止位置距离斜台的距离。
